Virtual Comprehensive Movement Assessment
If travelling to a clinic isn't practical, the Virtual Comprehensive Movement Assessment gives you the same depth of assessment from home. Christos Hughes reviews how your body is organised and how it moves as a whole system, then works through the findings with you live, before building a plan specific to you.
What it is
Before your live session, you'll send through postural images and a walking video. Christos reviews these to assess how your body is organised in standing and how your movement system works as a whole — including your feet, ankles, knees, hips, spine, ribcage, and skull — to identify how your body manages load, how different areas coordinate during movement, and potential contributors to your pain. Your 60-minute live video consultation then explores the key areas identified, before building your individualised movement program.
Who this is for
This assessment is for active individuals experiencing pain who want expert movement guidance from the comfort and convenience of home. It suits people who can't easily get to Randwick, or who simply prefer to do the assessment remotely. If you'd prefer an in-person session instead, see the In-Person Comprehensive Movement Assessment.
What it costs
$360 AUD.
How long it takes
The live consultation runs for 60 minutes, on top of the time Christos spends beforehand reviewing your postural images and walking video ahead of the session.
The process, step by step
1. Submit your postural images and walking video before your consultation.
2. Pre-session review. Christos assesses how your body is organised in standing and how your movement system works as a whole from what you've submitted, identifying how your body manages load and potential contributors to your pain.
3. 60-minute live assessment. We explore key areas identified from your assessment before building your individualised movement program, tailored specifically to you.
4. Personalised Loom video. You receive a video explaining your exercises and key focus points, so you can follow the program accurately at home.
5. Ongoing reassessment. We monitor your response to activity and refine your plan through ongoing reassessment, helping reduce persistent pain, prevent injury recurrence, and build long-term load tolerance.
