3. YOUR MOVMT PLAN

 

Your movmt plan is set for you at the end of every session. This plan lets you train around your injury, meaning your strength, and fitness never have to take a backseat whilst you work towards full recovery.

  • HOW ARE YOU OPERATING IN THE CURRENT COVID ENVIRONMENT?
    JOIN THE MOVMT IS OPEN to continue offering quality care for clients. Your health is our number one priority. We are a fully vaccinated clinic and have a COVID-19 safety plan in place. Our physiotherapist has completed the Australian Governments Infection Control Training for COVID-19. Please postpone your appointment by phone or email at least 24 hours in advance if any of the following situations apply to you: ​ If you are unwell with any potential COVID symptoms If you have been a close contact with a confirmed case (either RAT or PCR) of COVID 19. If you have been advised to quarantine or self-isolate. For our safety: Spaces have been made between each appointment for the cleaning of all surfaces and to reduce the possibility of crowding in the waiting room. All surfaces are cleaned with allcare hospital grade detergent and disinfectant. Hand sanitizer is located at the reception and inside the treatment room. PPE will be worn appropriate to the patient presentation and in line with the most recent advice from NSW health. Within the treatment space, air conditioning may be required to maximise the intake of outside air and reduce recirculation. Your physiotherapy can also be continued via video call. Telehealth uses an online video platform, accessed through your computer, phone or tablet. So wherever you may be, you can always reach us to continue your MOVMT journey.
  • HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
    This will be different for everyone. At JOIN THE MOVMT your care plan will provide you with a recommendation based on your need. If you are recovering from an injury you will be given an estimated time frame for healing and recovery. However, It is important to understand that even after full injury healing has occcured, your body posture may have adapted to a downgraded version of itself. The body adaptation that was once needed to take stress off the injured area has now become your new normal. In this instance our clients may come to tune up their body as part of their monthly routine.
  • DO YOU OFFER VIRTUAL SESSIONS?
    Yes, if you are unable to travel to our clinic or you just prefer virtual consults we have you covered.
  • WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING FOR MY SESSION?
    Please bring a list of your current medications and any relevant referral letters, documents or medical reports to your first session. Comfortable clothing is advised. Shorts and a singlet top is recommended.
  • DO I NEED A REFERRAL TO ATTEND PHYSIOTHERAPY?
    No, Physiotherapists are first contact health professionals meaning no referral is required to make an appointment.
  • DO YOU ACCEPT HEALTH INSURANCE PLANS?
    Yes, we have HICAPS available at the clinic. HICAPS has partnered with 98% of health insurers, allowing you to claim a rebate on the spot for any Physiotherapy consultation. Make sure you check your policy brochure to be sure of how much your policy lets you claim on treatment.
  • DO YOU ACCEPT EPC (MEDICARE) REFERRALS?
    Yes. You are required to pay the full consultation fee at the end of your appointment. Your Medicare card will then be swiped on our HICAPS machine so you can claim the rebate of $55.10.
  • WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE MY SESSION?
    If you are unable to attend your appointment please let us know via phone or email at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will count as a missed appointment and you may be charged.
  • WHERE IS BEST TO PARK?
    Woolworths Car Park: 2 hours (Arncliffe Street just opposite us) Cahill Park Car Park: 3 hours (2 Brodie Spark drive just opposite us) Village Square Car Park: 3 hours (Spark lane, 2 minute drive)
